The international project aims at research in the field of theoretical condensed matter as well as theoretical and experimental quantum optics.

A fully funded PhD student scholarship is available to work at the Centre for Quantum Software and Information with the University of Technology Sydney in downtown Sydney. The student, who has a strong background and interest in applied mathematics, will do research under my supervision to further develop the mathematical foundations of quantum information theory and explore its various applications, specifically to quantum and post-quantum cryptography.

A range of PhD and PostDoctoral positions are available for TheBlinQC (Theory-Blind Quantum Control). Areas include Theory and Control of Opto-Mechanical Systems, Experiments with Rydberg Crystals, Experimental Opto-Mechanics with a Levitated Nano-Sphere, Quantum Control Theory, Theory of Many-Body Physics, in particular time crystals, and Control Theory, in particular Kalman Filters. The QUEST (QUantum Enhanced Sensing Techniques) lab in the Weizmann Institute of Science invites enthusiastic applicants for graduate studies (PhD) or post-doctoral research stay to combine physics, chemistry and some engineering in the emerging field of quantum sensing.

The lab specializes in the nitrogen-vacancy center in diamond as its quantum sensor, and will apply it to the study of molecule structure, intra- and inter-molecule reactions and couplings.
