Efficient atom photon interfaces are the basis for quantum computers, fibre networks or miniaturised quantum sensors. Photons are ideal systems to create entangled states or to carry quantum information, while atoms are well suited for information storage or to mediate interactions between photons.

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented PhD student willing to join the QCAT Quantum Technologies Research Group led by Dr. habil. Magdalena Stobinska and her team undertaking the research project entitled “Integrated optics in time-frequency domain: a new versatile platform for quantum technologies”, funded by the Foundation for Polish Science.
