Join Our Group – Postdoctoral Position Available
We are an experimental research group at the University of Milan, Italy, led by Prof. Woojin Kwon, dedicated to exploring quantum phenomena in ultracold atomic systems of fermionic Lithium-6 gases. Our research seeks to deepen the understanding of many-body quantum physics through precision experiments. Supported by the ERC Starting Grant, our current focus is on fermionic superfluid gases, with particular interest in quantum vortices and related quantum transport phenomena.

At Quantic group (Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Spain), we develop
quantum computational techniques, software and algorithmic solutions
that require quantum computers or quantum emulators. We exploit all the
scientific tools at our disposal, including HPC, quantum processors and
hardware, and AI techniques. We currently host a digital quantum
computer, and we are in the process of installing a quantum annealer,
both based on superconducting circuits technology, installed on-site and
integrated with our supercomputer MareNostrum5. Therefore, one of our
