Job type:

Join Our Group – Postdoctoral Position Available

We are an experimental research group at the University of Milan, Italy, led by Prof. Woojin Kwon, dedicated to exploring quantum phenomena in ultracold atomic systems of fermionic Lithium-6 gases. Our research seeks to deepen the understanding of many-body quantum physics through precision experiments. Supported by the ERC Starting Grant, our current focus is on fermionic superfluid gases, with particular interest in quantum vortices and related quantum transport phenomena.

We are looking for a highly motivated experimental postdoctoral researcher to join our team.

Candidates should
* hold a Ph.D. (or be near completion) in Atomic Physics, Quantum Optics, or a related field.
* have experience with optics and laser systems, ultra-high vacuum (UHV) techniques, and laser cooling and trapping of atoms.
* Additional experience with Digital Micromirror Devices (DMDs) for atom manipulation is a plus.
* Proficiency in Python for data analysis and control systems is also desirable.

Also, master's & phd positions are available in our group.

Do not hesitate to contact Prof. Woojin Kwon directly.
