The PhD fellow will work on the theory of cavity quantum electrodynamics of resonators embedding high-mobility 2D electron gases (both massive electrons in semiconductors and Dirac fermions in graphene).

A number of fully funded 3-year PhD studentships (DEL and EPSRC) are available at the Centre for Theoretical Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics (CTAMOP), Queen's University Belfast to start in October 2014.
