The research work will be carried out at the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw, as part of the NCN OPUS 19 project "Strongly interacting and tightly confined quantum systems: a new quantum technology toolbox". The student will conduct theoretical research on the topic of ultracold polar molecules, developing effective numerical methods of describing their interactions and collisions.

The theory group at the Institute for Quantum Information of the Jülich-Aachen Reasearch Alliance (JARA) is looking for highly motivated candidates to fill a fully-funded PhD position over the next few months.
The doctoral projects will focus on theoretical studies of physical implementations of quantum information processing, such as superconducting qubits, and related enabling quantum technologies.
