Position open for a 1-year postdoc in the group “Quantum Dynamics and Control” led by Aurelia Chenu at the University of Luxembourg, starting asap. See our group at chenulab.com

The postdoc fellow will be working on a wave-function picture of open quantum dynamics, including the effect of measurement.

The applicant should be a creative and motivated researcher with knowledge of one or all of the following:
- measurement theory - quantum optics - quantum dynamics - stochastic processes

The School of Physics of Astronomy at Tel-Aviv University invites applications for a post-doctoral position in Foundations of Quantum Mechanics. The research, led by professors Yakir Aharonov and Lev Vaidman, is focused on time and non-locality in quantum mechanics, with a special emphasis on entanglement, weak measurements and the Aharonov-Bohm Effect.

My group explanation is written in the following. The tentative website is http://qm.ims.ac.jp/
Honestly speaking, I am looking for the ultimate goal on my research career. The Nature knows many interesting problems but unfortunately we have not yet analyzed for any physical systems. Therefore, I have to make "new" and "interesting" problems inside the Nature. Now, I am continuing the following projects;

Three two-year postdoctoral research associate positions are available immediately in the group of Barry Sanders, who is the iCORE Chair of Quantum Information Science and Director of the University of Calgary's Institute for Quantum Information Science (IQIS). Research foci are machine learning for quantum measurement, multi-partite quantum communication protocols, quantum simulation, electron transport in protein complexes, and theoretical support for the the experimental research groups of Drs Barclay, Lvovsky, and Tittel in IQIS.
