PhD positions supervised by Ryan LaRose (https://www.ryanlarose.com/) are available at MSU-Q (https://msuq.natsci.msu.edu/) in the broad areas of quantum computing theory, quantum algorithms, and scientific computing in quantum information. Successful applicants will be motivated learners seeking to contribute novel research to advance the theory and applications of quantum information science.
MSU-Q provides flexibility in coursework and teaching, dual PhD options, and the opportunity to collaborate with faculty experts in multiple areas of quantum technology and related fields. Applicants should apply to one or more of the following departments:

Deadlines vary by department but are generally mid-December to start Fall 2023. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until positions are filled.
