The Quantum Optics research group at the Institute of Applied Physics at the University of Bonn is offering a PhD position (67% TVL 13). Our group conducts research on quantum gases of light in optical microresonators as well as on ultracold atomic gases. The PhD project will focus on the experimental investigation of novel collective effects in photon Bose-Einstein condensates in dye-filled optical microresonators.

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about research, hold an excellent Master’s degree, and are interested in experimental work.
