We are inviting applications for a 3-year PhD position on Theoretical Quantum Optics on our new group at the Condensed Matter Physics Center (IFIMAC), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain.
We are looking for motivated students interested in topics related to the physics of driven-dissipative quantum systems, the generation of non-classical states of light and their applications on spectroscopy, imaging and metrology.
We are looking for a talented theoretical quantum error correction researcher to work with us towards building a fault-tolerant quantum computer. If you are interested in putting your expertise to use at the forefront of the quantum computing industry, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Simon Benjamin’s group (a team of 11 students and postdocs) is recruiting. The position is titled Quantum Theory for Early Quantum Computers and we’re interested in hearing from anyone with skills in that broad area. You’d work with theory and experimental teams from around the UK and beyond, as part of the UK’s national quantum Hub in QC. Please see the link for more info.
