The research group of Professor Aash Clerk (University of Chicago) invites applications for an open postdoctoral position in the general areas of theoretical quantum condensed matter physics, quantum optics and quantum information. Areas of interest include dynamics, control, topology and correlations in driven dissipative quantum systems, with a focus on connecting to experimental platforms (especially superconducting circuits). The group also has interests related to quantum sensing and metrology.

There will be three QTalks in this week! All talks will be hosted by QLatvia and they will be part of #qworldchallenge2020. Please share them in your networks and also with your colleagues!

QTalk in Latvia: Quantum supremacy QTalk for Juniors with a special focus on high school students: Polarization of Light with Quantum Game QTalk with Women hosting women but open to everyone: My quantum journey by Laura Mančinska‬

MLQ2021 is an online conference that aims to bring together quantum physicists with computer scientists and engineers, to address how machine learning, adaptive estimation and advanced signal processing can help address the current challenges in quantum technology. Quite uniquely, the conference focuses on three specific questions, outlined in the attached flyer. We will have tutorials and contributions by both physicists and machine learning experts.
