Technical Staff for QuTiP
About this job This is a job post for a [one]-year
job opportunity to work on maintaining and improving QuTiP (the Quantum
Toolbox in Python). Compensation is competitive with academic community
standards and will depend on the candidate experience (PhD graduate or
not, etc.). The candidate will work at RIKEN, Wako campus, Japan, within
the Theoretical Quantum Physics Laboratory, RIKEN Cluster for Pioneering
Research (Laboratory head: Franco Nori, Chief Scientist). RIKEN is
Japan’s basic science research institute. Wako is located in the Tokyo
suburban area. You will coordinate with the QuTiP admin developers,
under the supervision of Prof. Franco Nori.

The theory group at the Institute for Quantum Information of the Jülich-Aachen Reasearch Alliance (JARA) is looking for highly motivated candidates to fill a fully-funded PhD position over the next few months.
The doctoral projects will focus on theoretical studies of physical implementations of quantum information processing, such as superconducting qubits, and related enabling quantum technologies. The projects will be supervised by Dr. Ansari and may involve collaborations with leading experimental groups.
Unitary Fund is a non-profit research group helping build a quantum technology industry that benefits the most people. We support the community, e.g. running a grant program to support the development of new open source quantum software, and we do our own research on key projects for the ecosystem.

3rd International Workshop on Quantum Resource Estimation (QRE 2021) https://www.quantumresource.org/
The workshop will bring together researchers to discuss new methods and directions needed to develop, as soon as possible, the tools to:
* accurately analyze and benchmark complex quantum algorithms
* adapt error-correction techniques
* refine classical control and hardware microarchitectures
* enable scientifically and commercially relevant quantum applications
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for full-time tenure-track faculty positions at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor). We particularly encourage applications in quantum computing, but also welcome applications from exceptional candidates in other areas.

We are seeking a talented postdoctoral research associate to work on an experimental project looking at evaluating quantum random number generators (QRNGs). This position is funded by the EPSRC’s Quantum Communications Hub and will be based at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington (London) in the Quantum Photonics team. The project will involve developing the necessary experimental understanding, expertise and techniques to test quantum photonic QRNGs.
