Postdoctoral Position in Quantum Computing and Foundational Physics
at Tohoku University Apply through the NEXUS Postdoctoral Fellowship
Program
We are seeking two research associates with experience in the broad
area of quantum information science and technology, and an interest in
quantum foundations more specifically, to work with Dr Jonte R Hance
within the Advanced Model-Based Engineering and Reasoning (AMBER)
Research Group in the School of Computing. These positions are funded
under Dr Hance’s EPSRC Quantum Technologies Career Acceleration
Fellowship, titled “Developing Quantum Advantage by Understanding the
Paradoxical Aspects of Measurement in Quantum Systems”.
This project leverages foundations to pave the way for the novel
quantum protocols, algorithms, and technologies of the future. You will
work closely with internal collaborators, external project partners
(including at the University of Bristol, Heriot-Watt University,
Northumbria University, and the National Quantum Computing Centre in the
UK, and Kyoto University, Nagoya University, Kagawa University, and
Hiroshima University in Japan), and new and developing external
collaborators. These 5-year fixed-term positions should provide a path
to research independence, and Dr Hance will provide support and guidance
for applying for independent fellowships and other such opportunities
for developing independence throughout the term of the position.

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher with interest in quantum information and mathematical optimization. The successful candidate will work closely with Felix Huber (https://huberfe.github.io/) at the Division of Quantum Computing of the University of Gdańsk.
The Institute for Quantum Science and Technology (IQST) and the
Department of Physics and Astronomy in the Faculty of Science at the
University of Calgary invite applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar in
Quantum Technology, with a focus on micro- and nanofabricated quantum
circuits, ranging from integrated photonic systems to superconducting
devices.
This position is affiliated with the Integrated Hybrid Quantum
Circuits group, which provides access to state-of-the-art quantum device
fabrication and measurement facilities at the University of Calgary. The
group is engaged in cutting-edge research at the interface of quantum
optics, superconducting circuits, and hybrid quantum systems, with
strong collaborative ties to national labs and industry partners.
The Trapped Ion Quantum Technology group at Stockholm University
invites applications for a postdoctoral position on our trapped Rydberg
ion experiments. The postdoc will work on an experiment to investigate
Rydberg physics and perform quantum gates in longer ion strings.
The Trapped Ion Quantum Technology Group at Stockholm University is
seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to
pioneering research in open-system quantum simulations with trapped
Rydberg ions. This position is part of the ERC Synergy project “Open 2D
Quantum Simulator (OPEN-2QS)”.

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore brings
together physicists, computer scientists and engineers to do basic
research on quantum physics and to build devices based on quantum
phenomena. Experts in this new discipline of quantum technologies are
applying their discoveries in computing, communications, and sensing.
CQT is hosted by the National University of Singapore. The Centre also
has staff at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Nanyang
Technological University, Singapore, and the Singapore University of
Technology and Design. With some 200 staff and students, it offers a
friendly and international work environment.
The QuantumInternet.it research group at the University of Naples
Federico II is seeking highly motivated candidates for multiple
positions within the ERC Consolidator Grant project QNattyNet lead by
Prof. Angela Sara Cacciapuoti. We are hiring at both Junior (MSc, PhD)
and Senior (Postdoc) levels. Why Apply? • Be part of an internationally
renowned research team • Access a cutting-edge testbed for fiber-based
entangled networks • Collaborate in a dynamic, interdisciplinary
research environment Eligibility & Requirements Ideal candidates: •
