The School of Chemistry and Physics and the National Institute for Theoretical Physics (NiTheP) invite candidates to apply for the post of Research Scientist to work in the field of the theory of open quantum systems. The School and NITheP offer a vibrant educational and research environment in Theoretical Physics and have many well established national and international collaborative research links.

The Physics Graduate Program of the Federal University of Santa Catarina has two positions for visiting foreign professors in the fields of both experimental and theoretical physics working in the following research fields: Astrophysics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Quantum Optics and Quantum Information, Condensed Matter, Statistical Mechanics, Mathematical Physics, Quantum Field Theory, and Nuclear and Hadron Physics.
