The year 2025 marks a historic milestone – 100 years since the birth of Quantum Mechanics, a scientific revolution that redefined our understanding of nature at its most fundamental level. In celebration of this centenary and aligned with the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ 2025) declared by UNESCO, we proudly present a Workshop celebrating the Quantum Century: from Puzzling Principles to Transformative Technologies 2025 (SCQC 2025). Organized under the aegis of the COMSNETS Association, SCQC 2025 is a special edition workshop dedicated to reflecting on a century of quantum discoveries while charting the course for the next era of transformative quantum technologies. This workshop encompasses all four major drivers of quantum technology, i.e. computing, sensing, communications, and materials.

Dates:

Tuesday, November 4, 2025 to Wednesday, November 5, 2025

Registration deadline:

Monday, October 20, 2025

Join us in London for an exclusive in-person celebration of a century of Quantum Physics - Past, Present, and Future

As part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, the Institute of Physics invites you to a special community celebration that traces the remarkable journey of quantum physics-from its origins to its transformative potential for the decades ahead. The two-day conference will explore both the historical context and future potential of quantum science and technology.

Three weeks left to register for QUACC+! A quantum certification and beyond conference, aimed at scientists at early stages of the career.

Quantum Certification Conference+ (QUACC+) aims to attract and promote young researchers from all over the World. This is the second edition of the event that took place in 2023 (https://lnkd.in/dzBpRS-Q), but its formula has been extended to include topics related to quantum computing and quantum error correction. During the conference, attendees will have an opportunity to contribute a short talk (20 + 5 min.) or to present a poster. Prominent invited guests will deliver 40 + 5 min. presentations related to their fields. We want this conference to be an inspiration for interesting discussions and to enable everyone to establish new scientific contacts and cooperation.
