The quantum information theory group at the department of physics, National Chung Hsing University (located in Taichung, Taiwan) is recruiting a postdoc specializing in, but not limited to, quantum information, quantum optics, quantum entanglement, and Bell nonlocality. The successful candidate can also develop her/his own project with other research groups.

The duration of the contract is 2 years, but can be extended yearly if the performance of the publication is good. The starting date is flexible but should be no later than Aug. 1, 2023. The monthly salary is around 57,000 NTD (~1,900 USD) and there is a bonus of 1.5-month salary at the end of the year. The tax rate for foreigners for the first year is around 18%. For the 2nd year and later, the tax rate is around 12%.
