Postdoc position (3 years) in Quantum Cybersecurity and Communication (QuantERA)

One post-doctoral position is available at the newly created International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies (ICTQT), Gdańsk, Poland. Starting date is negotiable and depends on the current epidemiological situation.
Remuneration is up to 9600 PLN gross (~6800 PLN net), highly competitive salary in Poland.
Maximum period of employment is 34 months (full-time).
Deadline: 31 July 2020.
The Quantum Cybersecurity and Communication Group, led by Prof. Marcin Pawłowski, is a team of young and highly-motivated researchers working on a wide range of topics including:
- development of self-testing protocols
- security analysis of QIP protocols
- increasing efficiency and reliability of quantum cryptographic protocols
- quantum hacking and cryptanalysis
with a special aim at finding experimental and industrial partners for collaboration towards building commercial quantum devices, prototypes, and obtaining patents.
