Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in quantum foundations and quantum information at the Centre for Quantum Information and Communication at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). The researcher will work with Dr. Ognyan Oreshkov on topics ranging from entanglement to causal structures and quantum reference frames. The position is for a period of up to 2 years, with the funding ending at the end of 2025. Among applicants with comparable qualifications, those available for an earlier start date will be prioritised.
Note: the deadline has been extended to June 12, 2024 and applications received by this date will receive full consideration. The position will remain open until filled.

Physico-Infomatics and Systems (PIS) Laboratory, University of Tsukuba was started from October 1st, 2023. The principal investigator of this lab. is Prof. Yutaka Shikano. PIS Lab. now opens several Ph. D positions included the master's and doctoral courses under several projects. When you propose the more interesting project under the supervision of Prof. Yutaka Shiakno, we can negociate this topics.

Project: The project aims to advance the theory of superconducting processors for accurate modelling. A special focus will be on finding and characterizing the Hamiltonian of a large processor using numerical analysis. This project is part of my commitment to the European Research funding for making 100+ qubits, called OpenSuperQPlus (https://www.opensuperqplus.eu )
