Welcome to Quantiki
Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.
Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We are also distributing news via X (Twitter) feed, Bluesky news feed, and LinkedIn profile. We encourage you to follow us on social media to get the recent news from quantum infromation community.
The counterintuitive features of quantum physics have already revolutionized our understanding of how the world behaves on the microscopic level. But are there any non-trivial consequences of quantum effects that have a functional relevance for biology?
The 2013 edition of the Summer School on Quantum Information, Computing and Control - QuICC - will take place at Imperial College London, run by students in the Centre for Doctoral Training in Controlled Quantum Dynamics. We aim to bring together some of the foremost researchers from a number of related fields to provide a unique educational experience for ourselves and students from other institutions, and to create an atmosphere conducive to new collaborations.
AQIS'13 is a meeting focused on quantum information processing, communication and cryptography, an interdisciplinary field bridging quantum physics, computer science, mathematics, and information technologies. This event, which is the thirteenth in a highly successful series, building upon EQIS'01-05 and AQIS'06-12, is coming to India for the first time, having been held previously in Japan, China and Korea. This is the prime Asian conference in the field.

A 2-year Postdoctoral position in Theoretical Quantum Optics of Quantum Many-Body Systems is available at the University of Oxford. The deadline is 19 May 2013.
The project’s target is merging quantum optics and many-body physics of ultracold quantum gases, using theoretical methods of atomic and condensed matter physics. The post-holder will address phenomena, where the quantum natures of both light and ultracold matter play equally important roles.

The meeting will focus on the latest achievements in the rapidly growing field of quantum engineering with a particular emphasis on the most recent advances in the broad field of atomic physics, including precision measurements; ultracold Bose and Fermi gases; ultracold molecules; quantum simulators and quantum information with atoms and ions; quantum optics. This year the conference is a satelite meeting of a BEC 2013 Conference to be held in Sant Feliu de Guixols (Spain).
The ANR Retour des postdoc NLQCC aims to study the foundations of quantum information from the perspective of computation and cryptography.
