The Wilson Fellowship at Fermilab seeks applications from Ph.D. physicists of exceptional talent with at least two (2) years of post-doctoral experience. The Fellowship is awarded on a competitive basis and is intended to support outstanding assistant professor-level physicists early in their careers. It provides unique opportunities for self-directed research in experimental physics through work on the Fermilab particle physics experiment of the candidate's choice.
Application deadline:

Would you like a permanent research position, tinkering with lasers and electronics? Working with some very bright people who love what they do? Without needing to write papers or grant applications? We are continually seeking new people, in particular the kinds of people that have built experiments to work with cold atoms, trapped ions, quantum optics and the like. PhD graduates that have worked with tunable lasers, photodetectors, AOMs, RF electronics and all the stuff that makes our labs fun.

The Quantum Information Group at University College London (UCL) invites applications for the postdoctoral research position associated to the EPSRC project Scrambling of Quantum Information in Many-Body Systems, working with Dr Lluis Masanes. The goals of this project are: to establish realistic time scales for equilibration processes, to quantify the depth/strength of thermalisation processes, to study the effect of causal structure and conformal symmetry in the previous problems, and to construct unitary designs generated by time-independent interactions.
