A postdoctoral position is available at the Technical University of Dortmund for a motivated and qualified scientist who is interested to continue the development of miniaturised resonators for EPR. These microresonators are optimised for detecting small samples (down to the nanometer range) with high sensitivity. Candidates should have a firm background and proven track record in the field of magnetic resonance and an interest in numerical simulations of the resonators.

Application deadline:

Friday, June 15, 2018

We call for applications for a Post-Doc position in the Quant-ERA project InterPol. The position is for 2 years and it is expected that the post-doc will spend at least 6 months researching at University College London.

Application deadline:

Thursday, May 17, 2018

We are seeking a talented and motivated postdoctoral researcher to work in the field of quantum information theory in the group led by Remigiusz Augusiak. This position will be based at the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (Poland) and is funded by the Foundation for Polish Science within the First Team programme.

This is a fixed term position for one year (extendable until April 2021) to start preferably from June 2018.

Application deadline:

Tuesday, April 24, 2018

Currently we have open one Postdoctoral fellow position and two PhD positions.

Application deadline:

The Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) invites applications for one or two postdoctoral positions in the area of theoretical quantum information and many-body physics. The successful candidate will join the Junior Research Group led by Prof Jaeyoon Cho. The group has a broad range of interests in quantum information and many-body theories. APCTP is situated at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Korea, and provides a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment for theoretical physicists.

Application deadline:

We are looking for a co-investigator in a QuantEra project “Cavity-Enhanced Quantum Optical Clocks” (Q-Clocks). Q-Clocks seeks to establish a new frontier in the quantum measurement of time by joining state-of-the-art optical lattice clocks and the quantized electromagnetic field provided by an optical cavity. The goal of the project is to apply advanced quantum techniques to state-of-the-art optical lattice clocks, demonstrating enhanced sensitivity while preserving long coherence times and the highest accuracy.
