Announcing the inaugural Quantum Thermodynamics Down Under (QTDU)
conference in Brisbane, Australia, 7th -- 10th November 2023.
QTDU2023 is an opportunity for researchers in quantum thermodynamics
and related fields to get to know each other, fostering new connections
and collaborations across Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and
internationally.
- When: 7th -- 10th November 2023
- Where: 308 Queen Street, Brisbane (the University of Queensland's
new city campus)
- Fees: $90 (support for registrants with limited funding is
available)
The four-day conference is centred around, but not limited to, four
themes:
- Fundamental questions in quantum thermodynamics
- Benefits and applications of quantum thermal machines
- Connections between quantum thermodynamics and other fields, such as
quantum information and quantum biology
- Incorporating quantum thermodynamics into outreach events

Abstract submission for contributed talks is now
open!
We will be accepting registrations after abstracts have been
reviewed. Numbers are capped so priority for registration will be given
to those presenting a talk.

- 30 June: Abstract submission deadline
- 10 July: Registration opens
- 6 October: Registration deadline
- 7 – 10 November: Conference
