Are you a physics postgraduate student interested in Ultracold Physics? Would you like to learn more from international experts in the field?
The Australian and New Zealand School in Ultracold Physics (ANZSUP) is a two week summer school for Masters and beginning PhD students, aimed to providing students with the relevant background in ultracold experiments and theory. Topics include
• Bose-Einstein condensates and ultracold Fermi gases
• Polaritons, excitons, exotic BECs
• Quantum simulation with atoms
• Optical lattices and disordered potentials
• Synthetic gauge fields
• Experimental techniques
This year’s summer school is hosted by the Dodd-Walls Centre for Photonic and Quantum Technologies, and will be held in Dunedin, New Zealand from 30 November – 11 December 2015.
